USA. Millington, TN – A Millington man who led police on a chase last year is now suing the City of Millington, the police department, and four officers involved in the chase. After the chase on September 18, 2014, Martin Boyd said he was beaten, dragged, and pepper sprayed. He added that he had to spend four days in the hospital.Boyd’s lawsuit claims he is suffering from a serious heart condition as a result of the arrest. The lawsuit lists nine injuries ranging from a fractured nose to black eyes. Boyd is asking for $750,000 for pain, suffering, and loss of income following his arrest.
