Man Gets Busted Stealing Packages off Someone’s Porch / UPS Porch Pirate

Tarzana, CA – Acting on information gleaned from a local resident’s home surveillance video, LAPD officers arrested Ramon Sean Horton, 32, at a home in Northridge, October 9, 2015. The investigation uncovered a mass of stolen property and a sophisticated operation of tracking delivery trucks to coordinate thefts. “We were incredulous when we saw the suspect on video following the UPS truck in a rented U-Haul pick-up,” explained Capt. Paul Vernon, Commanding Officer of the West Valley Patrol Division. “Once at the suspect’s house, we found they were tracking UPS trucks on a phone app, too.”
