The World’s Second Largest Diamond of All Time Has Been Discovered in Botswana

A 1,111-carat diamond was recently recovered from the Karowe mine in Botswana. The second-largest diamond of gem quality in the world has been recovered from a mine in Botswana. At 1,111 carats, the Type IIa diamond is the largest such stone to have ever been found using modern processing techniques.
